Noosa

new experiences around every corner

Wunya Ngulum – welcome to Kabi Kabi country. In Noosa, the hustle and bustle of daily life melts away, replaced by a tranquil rhythm that can only be described as a deep breathe in and slow exhale. Friendly locals, slow beach days and unique adventure activities make Noosa one of Australia’s most popular beachside holiday destinations.

One and a half hour’s drive north of Brisbane, Noosa is surrounded by nature, a tapestry of waterways, untouched national parks, stunning beaches, and the lush hinterland. Kayak or cruise through one of only two everglades systems in the world, catch a wave in a World Surfing Reserve, or spot kangaroos in the wild. And if you want to unwind and indulge, spoil yourself at fine-dining restaurants serving local produce, or venture out and explore the tracks and trails and quaint country towns in the Noosa hinterland.

Things to do

Noosa National Park
Dive into crystal-clear waters of Laguna Bay or nearby coves and soak up the sun in Noosa National Park. Spot a koala in the eucalypt forests as you wander the coastal and inland trails, or spot turtles, dolphins or whales (June to November).
Noosa Everglades
The Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, and is one of only two everglades on earth. Known as the River of Mirrors due to the amazing reflections, join a cruise or kayak tour to explore the narrow waterways and magnificent flora and fauna then glamp under the stars.
Noosa North Shore
Join a four-wheel drive day tour to explore the 80km of unspoilt pristine beaches, as you drive along the Great Beach Drive to Double Island Point and K’gari (Fraser Island). Soak up towering rainforests, rainbow coloured sand dunes and spot native marine and wildlife.
River life
Noosaville is home to the winding Noosa River, with gorgeous views, shady trees and a plethora of water activities. Drive-yourself pontoon boats are very popular, or hire jet skis, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards or electric bikes. Shop riverside at boutiques or dine overlooking stunning sunsets.
Noosa Country
Discover the beauty of the Noosa hinterland, with green valleys dotted with cafes, farm gates, distilleries and mountain tops. Ride a horse or cycle forest trails, go bird watching and climb mountains for 360-degree views of coast and hinterland. Stay in cosy B&Bs, health retreats or park a motorhome under Noosa’s starry skies.
