Sunshine Coast
new experiences around every corner
Only an hours’ drive north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast incorporates the beachside towns of Caloundra, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Coolum, Noosa and Rainbow Beach whilst being surrounded by lush hinterland. Visitors will be welcomed into a community filled with warm, genuine locals appreciating and sharing the Sunshine Coast way of life.
The Sunshine Coast has a wide variety of tourism and leisure experiences ranging from 100km of coastal beaches and waterways to scenic hinterland areas, national parks, world-class resorts, quality restaurants and several attractions.
The region is rich in diversity from the majestic Glass House Mountains, to the rolling surf beaches along the coastline, the coloured sands of the Cooloola Coast out to the fertile farmland of the hinterland and Mary Valley. It’s also home to the Noosa Everglades – one of only two everglades systems in the world – that stretches across two UNESCO Biosphere Reserves – the Noosa and Great Sandy – in the upper reaches of the Noosa River.
