Day 1

Your Lions adventure begins

Your Lions adventure begins on the Gold Coast. Make your way to Mercure Gold Coast resort where you will be checking in for six nights.

Mercure Gold Coast Resort is the perfect location for relaxing and unwinding in peace and quiet whilst only 10 minutes from the Gold Coast’s top tourist attractions.

Day 2

Explore the gold coast

Famed for its long sandy beaches, surfing hotspots and elaborate system of inland canals and waterways, the Gold Coast has something for everyone. Discover the laid-back atmosphere, a booming culinary scene and the exhilarating theme parks.

Day 3

Lions den and first test

Kick-off the day at the famous Lion’s Den – the most incredible rugby party anywhere – to begin a memorable day supporting the Lions.

With top-class entertainment, food and drink and fantastic legends, this is the perfect build up to the first Test match.

Atmosphere, experience, being with like-minded fans – nothing beats it.

Day 4

Surfers Paradise

The Gold Coast has some of the most beautiful stretches of sand in Australia, so it’s easy to see why it is a paradise for lovers of sand, sun and surf. Whether you love to swim, surf, paddleboard or simply relax, you’ll find a beach to suit you. What a holiday memory.

Day 5

The green behind the gold

Nestled just 30 minutes from the coastline, The Gold Coast’s lush hinterland is often referred to as ‘The Green Behind The Gold’. This green landscape is characterised by dense subtropical rainforests and farming grounds that offer a wide range of activities from bushwalking to winery tours.

Day 7

Brisbane to Melbourne

After a tremendous six nights in the Gold Coast, it’s time to head to Melbourne for the second leg of your tour. Sit back and enjoy the experience, travelling with like-minded fans you’ll check in to the Mercure North Melbourne for six nights in a city that is mad about its sport and will welcome the Lions with open arms.

Day 8

PUFFING BILLY RAILWAY

Take a day trip from Melbourne and ride the Puffing Billy steam train through the Dandenong Ranges, taking a scenic coastal route to Phillip Island, and see the world-famous Phillip Island Penguin Parade. *

Day 9

Yarra Valley

Explore Australia’s wine region, located just over 20 miles from central Melbourne, spend the day in Yarra Valley and select from a range of wineries, breweries, cider houses and cheese factories – a delicious way to sample the delights of Australia. *

Day 10

Lions Den & Second Test

Matchday. And what a matchday it promises to be.

The Lion’s Den will be loud, proud and ready to rock with a huge array of stars, food and drink to set you up for an incredible experience at the MCG.

This will arguably be one of the biggest Lions Tests of all time and your place is guaranteed. Simply not to be missed.

Day 11

Melbourne By Night

After a busy day of exploring Melbourne, jump on board the Spirit of Melbourne cruise and enjoy the skyline at night as you pass attractions like Federation Square and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Day 12

Explore Melbourne’s Culture

On day 12, immerse yourself in the city’s culture by first looking at the oldest public art gallery in Australia at the National Gallery of Victoria before moving on to the Melbourne Museum and Royal Exhibition Building which is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland. Memories are made of this.*

Day 13

Melbourne to Sydney

The final chapter. From Melbourne you will transfer to Sydney, where you will spend five nights at the Mercure Sydney.

Day 14

Bondi Beach

Take the day to relax on one of the world’s most iconic beaches. Bondi Beach is the perfect location to experience one of Australia’s most famous surf spots. Bondi is also famous for its magnificent outdoor swimming pool, known as the Bondi Icebergs, located at the southern end of the beach.

Day 15

Sydney Harbour & Opera House

Make the short trip to the iconic Sydney Harbour and soak in the bustling atmosphere with sights like Harbour Bridge and the famous Sydney Opera House, or if you’re feeling adventurous, hop on a local ferry to see the sights by sea.*

Day 16

tHE SYDNEY TOWER EYE

Take in the picturesque scenery of the Emerald City and feel like you’re on top of the world with a trip to the Sydney Tower Eye.

Enjoy two levels of restaurants and an observation deck in the tower’s golden turret or take part in Sydney’s highest outdoor activity and complete a 60 minute Skywalk tour at 268 metres. *

Day 17

Lions Den & Third Test

This is where your incredible Lions journey will start to come to an end – but what a finale.

The Lion’s Den will power into life for a magnificent send-off. Full of colour, atmosphere and the best rugby fans in the world. Entertainment, music, food and drink – every ingredient you need before kick off.

And then it’s to the Accor Stadium for the final Test of the Series and a piece of rugby history

Day 18

the rest is up to you

Start the day with a hearty breakfast at Mercure Sydney, then the rest of your trip is up to you.
