Linda Kember

With over 25 years in the travel industry, Linda has journeyed across the globe, working with renowned companies such as Holland America Line, Abercrombie & Kent, Saga, and Titan Travel.

A true professional in managing local suppliers, Linda ensures every detail is meticulously handled, guaranteeing seamless travel experiences. Her passion lies in crafting and operating unforgettable tours, allowing travellers to create lifelong memories and we are delighted to have her on board.

She has visited more than 57 countries so brings a wealth of first-hand knowledge to every tour she delivers. Her involvement in the 2017 Lions Tour to New Zealand demonstrated her ability to manage complex travel logistics with finesse, so she is perfectly placed to ensure a great Australian experience.

Mark Roberts

Mark started his career with British Airways in a Marketing role which sparked his love for travel.

This love turned into a passion and 74 countries later (Australia will be country number 75) you can be assured you are in expert hands. His knowledge and experience are virtually in the travel industry.

He has now settled in Santiago, Chile with his Chilean partner where he teaches English. Embracing the new digital world of remote working he travels (as much as he can!) whilst still finding time to support us and other freelance leisure and tourism projects.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys travelling, running, practicing yoga and planning and searching for the next trip to somewhere new. There is no doubt Mark has an unrivalled travel CV.

Richard Prescott

Rich has a life ingrained in rugby – so if you want those little chats about all things Lions, you are in the right place!

Rich has worked in PR and communications for over 35 years and his sports experience includes working for BBC Radio 5 and BBC Radio London as a sports reporter at two Olympic Games for Team GB. 

He also knows the inner workings of England Rugby and for 13 years was the England Senior teams head of communications. He was part of the management team and backroom staff when England won Rugby World Cup in 2003 and finished as runners-up in 2007.

Rich also spent nine years working for Whitbread PLC across their restaurants and hotels.

Dave Guyan

If you want big personalities and big energy, you are in the right place!

Dave had a 26-year career in the Royal Navy prior to moving into the rugby world. On leaving the services he joined Saracens as the Team Manager for the 2007-8 season before heading back to the west country to take up similar roles at Bath Rugby where he stayed until 2014.

Dave then joined the RFU in Legal and Governance in the Discipline department during which he qualified as a Citing Commissioner. Since leaving the RFU full time Dave has served as a Citing Commissioner.

Dave has been appointed to RFU, URC, EPCR, Rugby Europe and World Rugby fixtures. Dave is also the Vice Chairman and Discipline Chairman for Gloucestershire RFU.

He knows all about the operational requirements needed on Tour and cannot wait to meet you all.

Day Trip to Adelaide

Wednesday 30 July - Departs 9:30 AM / Returns 17:00 PM

The Barossa is in South Australia, about 70km north-east of Adelaide, the state’s capital city.   Your trip will include a visit of the city centre, The State Library of South Australia and lunch at a local wine bar and kitchen. 

The State Library is the information heart of South Australia, located in the North Terrace Cultural Precinct.  You will have the opportunity to explore all three buildings: the award-winning contemporary Catherine Helen Spence Wing with its iconic glass foyer, the Mortlock Wing with its 19th century Victorian splendour, and the 1861 heritage listed Institute Building.

Sweeping stadium views, stylish bar and lounge, premium menu and extensive wine list.  Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen is one of Adelaide’s most impressive dining experiences.

Extending across level three of Oval Hotel and into the iconic Adelaide Oval, Bespoke’s unique setting makes a stunning backdrop lunch.

Executive Chef Daniel Simpson’s modern Australian menu brings bold flavours to life through fresh, seasonal produce.  Two drinks are included, and you may choose from house wine, beer or a soft drink.

After lunch you will be transferred to the North Terrace, Adelaide city where you can choose to spend your time either at Rundle Mall, The Art Gallery of South Australia or South Australian Museum.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  We have been advised that the carpet is being replaced in the Mortlock Chamber (section of the library) and we are now unable to conduct tours through this section during July so we will amend the Private tour of the State Library slightly and now include access to the basement (old & rare artifacts storage) which is an area of the library usually inaccessible to the public. 

 

Private 60 minute tour of State Library of South Australia | 30 July 2025 – 11:00am

Guests will have the opportunity to explore one of South Australia’s great institutions and take a look behind the shelves. An expert librarian will take you on a walk sharing stories of how the State Library began. Your experience starts at the historic Adelaide Circulating Library to learn the history of the building. By 1861, the collection of books held there was to became the first public library in South Australia. The Adelaide Circulating Library has been used in the past as a backdrop to several movies including Shine and Gallipoli. Continue your way to the basement to see some of the interesting old & rare artifacts housed in the library. Discover how the state’s most important treasures are maintained in the state-of-the-art storage and how the preservations team cares for the collection.
