BRITISH AND IRISH LIONS TOUR | AUSTRALIA 2025

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRE-TRAVEL

MERCHANDISE DISPATCH

This is the bit you’ve all been waiting for!

Your official Lions jersey and merchandise will be winging its way to you soon and we can’t wait to see the Sea of Red in Australia.

The delivery will begin at the end of May and continue throughout June, so we need to make sure the postal address we have for your group’s lead booker is correct.

Merchandise will be dispatched in accordance with dates of travel. Therefore, if you are travelling mid-late July then you can expect to receive your order late June.

Please note that if you live outside the UK and Ireland, additional courier fees will be payable for overseas delivery.

All deliveries made outside the UK will also incur local customs and import fees. Unfortunately, once a package departs UK shores, we are unable to track the delivery and are unable to prevent delays occurring at customs houses. Should you prefer to have your delivery made to a UK address then please update the form.

The current mailing postcode we hold is shown in the cover of this email. If this address is not the best postal address for you to receive your merchandise, then please update here. Submissions must be made before Thursday 8 May:

Once your merchandise is dispatched you will receive a text and email notification from the courier (in most cases this will be DHL) advising that a parcel is being delivered from us, and you will have the option to change the date of delivery or deliver to a collection point. Please note the parcel must be signed for upon delivery.

HOSPITALITY AND TICKET PACKAGES

Please note that if you have booked a Hospitality and Ticket package your merchandise will be made available for collection at the hospitality venue. Your match tickets will be distributed via the RugbyAU Tickets APP and further information regarding this will be shared once finalised by Rugby Australia.

TRAVEL ITINERARIES

Travel itineraries will be dispatched per booking in order of travel date via email. If you have purchased more than one travel package from us across consecutive weekends, you will receive one email per booking, and these may not be issued on the same day or in the same week.

Itinerary dispatch by email will start from Monday 26 May and will continue through to Friday 18 July, we appreciate and thank you for your patience whilst we complete the dispatch.

Match Ticket, Excursion Ticket, Lions Theatre and Lions Den Ticket Distribution

All tickets will be issued digitally, and further communications are being finalised to explain this procedure to you. However, please note these will be distributed to you you via a new ticketing App.

Tickets will be distributed in date order, with separate events/matches not necessarily distributed on the same day or in the same week. If you’re attending multiple arrangements with us, it’s therefore likely that you’ll receive separate notifications when each set of tickets is received, and there may well be a period or multiple days between each notification. This will be completed mid-July. You may therefore depart the UK, and not all tickets will be showing in your App, you will therefore need to ensure you have access to mobile data or Wi-Fi connectivity for the ticketing App to update whilst travelling. Please keep an eye on your inbox for further information relating to this.

Please note that the new ticketing App is not yet available online, in App stores or in Google Play, and our new ticketing App is not the the same as the Lions Clubhouse App. Further updates will be provided when the Lions Tour AU2025 Ticketing App is available to download. Please note however once downloaded your tickets will not automatically appear. As explained they will be drip-fed into your App across the coming weeks and may not all be in your App prior to travelling to Australia.

Airline Tickets and Hotel Vouchers

Please note that airline tickets and hotel vouchers will not be issued or required. You need to simply show your passport upon check-in at the airport and hotel.

Day Trip to Adelaide

Wednesday 30 July - Departs 9:30 AM / Returns 17:00 PM

The Barossa is in South Australia, about 70km north-east of Adelaide, the state’s capital city.   Your trip will include a visit of the city centre, The State Library of South Australia and lunch at a local wine bar and kitchen.

The State Library is the information heart of South Australia, located in the North Terrace Cultural Precinct.  You will have the opportunity to explore all three buildings: the award-winning contemporary Catherine Helen Spence Wing with its iconic glass foyer, the Mortlock Wing with its 19th century Victorian splendour, and the 1861 heritage listed Institute Building.

Sweeping stadium views, stylish bar and lounge, premium menu and extensive wine list.  Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen is one of Adelaide’s most impressive dining experiences.

Extending across level three of Oval Hotel and into the iconic Adelaide Oval, Bespoke’s unique setting makes a stunning backdrop lunch.

Executive Chef Daniel Simpson’s modern Australian menu brings bold flavours to life through fresh, seasonal produce.  Two drinks are included, and you may choose from house wine, beer or a soft drink.

After lunch you will be transferred to the North Terrace, Adelaide city where you can choose to spend your time either at Rundle Mall, The Art Gallery of South Australia or South Australian Museum.

PLEASE NOTE:  We have been advised that the carpet is being replaced in the Mortlock Chamber (section of the library) and we are now unable to conduct tours through this section during July so we will amend the Private tour of the State Library slightly and now include access to the basement (old & rare artifacts storage) which is an area of the library usually inaccessible to the public.

Private 60 minute tour of State Library of South Australia | 30 July 2025 – 11:00am

Guests will have the opportunity to explore one of South Australia’s great institutions and take a look behind the shelves. An expert librarian will take you on a walk sharing stories of how the State Library began. Your experience starts at the historic Adelaide Circulating Library to learn the history of the building. By 1861, the collection of books held there was to became the first public library in South Australia. The Adelaide Circulating Library has been used in the past as a backdrop to several movies including Shine and Gallipoli. Continue your way to the basement to see some of the interesting old & rare artifacts housed in the library. Discover how the state’s most important treasures are maintained in the state-of-the-art storage and how the preservations team cares for the collection.
