IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRE-TRAVEL
VISAS
All non-Australian citizens travelling to Australia require a visa or travel authority for entry and this should be obtained by you before travelling. Please note that Lions Rugby Travel do not and are unable to apply for this on your behalf.
Australian visa processing times vary significantly depending on the visa type and individual circumstances. While some applications are processed within days, others can take several months. For example, eVisitor visas (like ETA or eVisitor) can be processed within a day or two.

The most common visa is an ETA or eVisitor. Eligible citizens visiting Australia for tourism or business can obtain a visa online. This could be either the eVisitor Australia visa or the ETA (Electronic Travel Authority).
British & Irish citizens can usually get the following types of electronic visitor visa:
- eVisitor visa. There is no visa application charge or service fee visit https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/evisitor-651#Overview for more information
- Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) via the iOS App or Android App. There is no visa application charge, but a service fee of AU$20 may apply
If you have a confirmed stop-over included in any other country you may require an entrance visa or extra validity on your passport, please check Foreign travel advice – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) for the latest travel advise and rules when travelling on a UK passport and https://www.ireland.ie/en/dfa/overseas-travel/visas-for-irish-people-going-abroad/ when travelling on an Irish passport. If you are travelling on any other passport please check your government advice.
Should you have renewed your passport after applying for your visa, your visa will be cancelled when the passport is cancelled and renewed, therefore you will need to reapply.
Please note that should you not have a valid visa you will be denied boarding upon check-in at the airport.
MERCHANDISE DISPATCH
We are pleased to advise that nearly half of our 44,000 merchandise items have now been dispatched from our UK warehouse and we plan to have the final item dispatched no later than Wednesday 25 June. You will receive an email from the courier once your parcel has left the warehouse to enable you to track the delivery. To enable us to focus and to avoid delays, we would be grateful if you would kindly not email to ask the delivery date of your individual items and only contact us if the latest delivery date is after your booked travel date.
