During your stay, keep an eye out for the humpback whales that make their way to the warm waters of the Whitsundays from Antarctica to give birth to their calves from June to September.

As restaurants on Hamilton Island are very popular and do get booked up, we strongly suggest you make your reservations at least three months ahead of travel. qualia offers two signature dining experiences; Pebble Beach and Long Pavilion, pre-booking of these is essential.

Getting Around Hamilton Island
As Hamilton Island does not have taxis and is enjoyed on foot or by golf buggy, each guest room at qualia receives complimentary use of their own golf buggy. There is also a free island shuttle bus available at set times.
Qualia also provide free non-motorised water sports, VIP transfers to and from your hotel on arrival and departure, use of gym, spa, sauna and access to tennis court hire, free Wi-Fi and non-alcoholic beverages.

Please note that upon arrival to qualia you will be required to register your credit card for any incidentals and a pre-authorisation of $1 AUD will be made against the card. As Hamilton Island is cashless all charges for services require credit or debit card payment.
