POPULAR EXPERIENCES
There is a great array of popular excursions and sightseeing tours to experience and here are some off the best.
Experience the tranquillity of the pre-dawn under a canopy of stars with Desert Awakenings and watch the amazing transformation of colours and life as the desert awakens with Uluru and Kata Tjuta as your backdrop. Or choose to travel towards Uluru with SEIT Tours. Your guide will take you to a special location to watch the sunrise over this monolith.
Another highlight is to travel through the desert landscapes of Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park with SEIT Tours towards the mighty rock formations of Kata Tjuta. Take in the views from the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that create this spiritual place.
Walk between these conglomerate rock walls into Walpa Gorge as your guide explains the significance of this sacred ceremonial site and how the environment and the geology has evolved over millions of years As darkness falls and Uluru is thrown into silhouette, Field of Light illuminates. As far as the eye can see gentle rhythms of colour light up the desert. The critically acclaimed, award-winning, Field of Light Uluru by the internationally celebrated artist Bruce Munro is on display and you will also have a choice to include dinner.
But as you have an outdoor experience included in your package with Wintjiri Wiru, you can find here, you may prefer to opt for the Star Pass, which gives a great overview of the Field.

CULTURAL EXPERIENCES
Inspired by the artwork of three local Anangu artists, Sunrise Journeys will transport you through past, present and future as projected light and music moves gently across the landscape. One of the most memorable breakfasts in the world.

FREE GUEST EXPERIENCES
From listening to the enchanting sounds of the Didgeridoo to visiting the animal petting farm, and hearing the stories and history behind some of Australia’s greatest explorers and cameleers, there is a wealth of FREE EXPERIENCES available to enjoy.
One of our favourites is the Gallery of Central Australia which showcases works from local Anangu artists in a variety of media. Here you may observe an artist-in-residence at work or shop for one-of-a-kind gifts.

LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE?
As you start your sunrise trek with SEIT ULURU TREK – SEIT Tours around the 12km base trail of Uluru, you will embrace the culture, geology and environment that is the essence of this amazing monolith.
If you prefer something a bit more adventurous, witness the magic of Uluru as dawn breaks over Australia’s spiritual heart on a Segway. Enjoy a light breakfast of tasty muffins, toasted muesli, juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

GOURMET
Tali Wiru, meaning ‘beautiful dune’ in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta, and for unique ambiance there’s the stillness of the desert at night.
Indulge in a selection of sweet and savoury petit fours, expertly crafted to showcase the vibrant flavours and unique culinary heritage of Australia in an Australian Native High Tea.
