BRITISH AND IRISH LIONS v ARGENTINA

AVIVA STADIUM DIGITAL TICKETING INFORMATION

DIGITAL TICKETING

We will send the ticket(s) to you through the Ticketmaster email system approximately one week before the match and you will receive an automated email from noreply@ticketmaster.com asking you to accept the tickets.

In order to access your tickets, you will be required to set up an IRFU Ticketmaster account which can be found here: https://am.ticketmaster.com/irfu/

Regardless of whether you already have an IRFU Ticketmaster account or not, in the email you receive you must click ‘Accept Tickets’ and you will then be prompted to either sign in to your IRFU Ticketmaster account or set up an account. Tickets will only show on your account if you click to accept them. When setting up an account, you will need to enter a mobile number, and you will be sent a verification code by text.

Once signed in, you will be able to view your tickets by selecting the match on the My Events tab.

For more information on the process, please click here: https://am.ticketmaster.com/irfu/digitaltickets

Transferring tickets to your party members

To transfer tickets to your party members, on the My Events page select the match, then select the ticket(s) you wish to transfer. Select ‘Transfer’ at the bottom of the page and add the name and email address of the recipient. Then simply click ‘Send’. The tickets will remain showing on your account but will detail who they have been sent to and whether that person has accepted them or not.

It is encouraged that tickets are transferred to each individual in advance of match day rather than storing all tickets on one account as this may cause delays at the stadium.

To gain entry to the stadium on matchday you can either show your mobile ticket within the website browser on your phone or using your mobile wallet.

Saving your match ticket to your smartphone wallet

It is encouraged that tickets are saved to your smartphone wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) prior to the match for easy access once you get to the stadium. To do this, log onto your account using your smartphone website browser and click ‘Add to Wallet’. Once at the stadium, you will be able to retrieve your ticket from the wallet without needing connectivity.  You must however ensure you have enough battery charge on the day so ensure you fully charge your mobile device prior to going to the stadium.

If your device is compatible, your ticket will be “NFC enabled” meaning you can tap your ticket from your mobile wallet to the contactless entry point. There will not be a barcode on your ticket, instead you will see a ‘hold to reader’ message.  This simply means you scan the ticket from your mobile device wallet against the card reader at the entry point.

If you are unable to add your ticket to your mobile wallet you can still gain access to the stadium using your IRFU Ticketmaster account on your smartphone’s website browser. Do this by scanning the rotating barcode on your ticket. You will need an internet connection in order to access this at the stadium.

Please note screenshots are not accepted and the tickets cannot be printed.

YOUR TRAVEL ITINERARY

Your travel itinerary will be sent to you via email from the Lions Tour Customer Service Team approximately two weeks before travel. Please note that your travel documents are emailed from us at Lions Tour and separately from your match ticket(s) which are sent via Ticketmaster email and therefore may be received by you on a different day.

LINKED BOOKINGS

Should you be travelling with another party who has also booked a travel package through us and wish to have your bookings linked so that you are sat together at the stadium, please notify us immediately by email and no later than Wednesday 30 April. Please email the Customer Service Team stating your booking reference and that of the other party and your desire to have your bookings linked.

Please note that if you request to link your booking to that of another group, we will only be able to link those services included in your package which are the same as the services in the other group’s package. For example, it would not be possible to link tickets (and for the individuals to sit together) where the group’s packages contain different categories of tickets. Linked booking requests are not guaranteed and are subject to us being notified prior to the ticket allocation process and availability.

Should you have any questions, please visit  IRFU – Digital Tickets  or contact a member of the Customer Services Team at customerservices@lionstour.com, by calling us on, or sending a Whatsapp message, to 0344 788 4080.

Kind Regards
